The Case For the Empire

It has some interesting conclusions. Based solely on the movies as it is, I can't really fault the guy's reasoning. It's interesting to note that the very issues he raises at the end of the article about the political turmoil that should come about after the victory of the Rebellion are indeed addressed in the Expanded Universe stories.
