Been a while since I posted in this fucking thing. This bitch'll be long, so I'll put it behind a cut tag.
I finally got my new computer up and running. Dual boot, Win2K and Linux. Haven't managed to get my DSL working on Linux yet, hopefully I'll get that done this moring when I get off work. I'm sure I was fucking up somewhere, but I think I know how to configure it now.
Ever since the Orlog Working I did (with BPP) about a month back, I seem to be really fixated on the runes. I've always been interested in them, but until now I never really did anything about it. I made up a neat leather bag to carry them in, along with a medicine bag type thing for wearing any talismans I might decide to make. I'm practicing my woodcarving skills and boning up on the Hammer Rite, along with other things, in preparation of really getting down to business with the runes. I want to have some practice before I actually start constructing my runes, as it'll take me 24 days to finish them. I've also gotten my hands on The Poetic Edda, The Volsung Saga, and the Nibelungenlied to bone up on Norse-Germanic lore. As soon as Runa-Raven Press gets it's shit together, I should have copies of The Book of Troth and Nine Doors of Midgard. I've sent them two emails and no response. For fuck's sake, don't they want to sell books? In any case, I'm making progress.
I'm contemplating writing an essay entitled Do People Have the Right to be Stupid? The idea has been germinating in my head for a couple of days now, triggered by a conversation with some idiot here at work. I've got a few ideas, but if anyone wants to discuss it here, feel free.
That's about it for now, it's time to get ready to go home and do laundry. Adios.
