masque12Well, I finally got my DSL working on Linux, so I will soon throw off the chains of Microserfdom completely. I realized that all I had to do was configure the network card with a static IP, relative to the router. Simple? Well sure, but I'm new at this stuff, bite me.
Finally got in touch with Runa-Raven, so my books should be on the way. Been working crazy hours, so I haven't started constructing the runes yet, but I will soon. I'm almost done with The Saga of the Volsungs, though.
I most likely will be going back on shift at work, which I surprisingly don't mind, at least I'll have a schedule I can plan around again. I take my 2nd Grade license test on Friday, if I pass that I should have a dollar raise coming my way (which combines nicely with the $.65 one I just got).
