Having a political discussion at work, need to vent. Enjoy.
I'm not a liberal, or a conservative for that matter. I'm a fucking libertarian/anarchist, for chrissakes. I have great respect for the soldiers of our country, and soldiers in general. HOWEVER, I still think Bush is a fucking fascist and this war is bullshit, for the simple reason that, HEY, Iraq isn't a threat. Is Hussein an asshole? Yes. Has he committed atrocities? Yes. Doesn't mean fuck all. If being an evil asshole dictator had anything to do with it, we'd be at war with most if not ALL of the dictators in Africa, most have which have done far worse than Hussein ever has.
"But Hussein gassed Israel..."
Hussein hasn't done shit since we cowed him during the first Gulf War, while Israel continues to fuck with the Palestinians. I don't give a fuck. In case you haven't noticed, Israel has committed it's own share of war crimes against the Palestinians, whose land they fucking STOLE. Jews committing genocide. That's fucking funny. It's probably not their fault, it's probably a condition of the contract they have with the US: we support Israel to make sure that fundamentalists can live out their Book of Revelations fantasies of having the Jews in the the Holy Land again so that Armageddon happens, the Israelis have to wipe out a nation of people. Hey, worked for the US when it got started.
Fuck Iraq, fuck Israel, fuck Saudi Arabia, Fuck Allah, YHVH, Jesus, Mohammed, Hassan i Sabbah, and the Mad fucking Arab, Abdhul motherfucking Alhazred. That whole region is fucked, no matter who does what it is going to breed more terrorist activities against the US like stagnant water breeds mosquitos. No good can come of this. Aside from the worldwide impact, we're sending our noble troops to die so that the Shrub can be re-elected and/or get more oil money for his buddies. Fuck that.
