Update on The Eddas: The Keys to the Mysteries of the North

I just finished the initial reformatting on the book. We're going to be printing it as a 7"x8.5" hardcover, so that we can print two pages per 8.5"x14" sheet of paper, so I had to set the page size and fix all the paragraphs and line spaces by hand, there not being an application that we could find to do so automagically.

We also eliminated the Norse/English columns, instead it is formatted with the Norse and English on facing pages. My business partner is going to format the text into columns for the aforementioned printing. Aside from that, all that is left is to re-import the images, add a Younger Futhark font to one section, and then we'll be ready to go. Mr. Chisholm might need to add some more corrections as well, he mentioned that there were several, we've only received one, so far.

I'm excited. This thing is going to be nice. I don't know if it will sell as much as my wife's Jedi robes, but I think it'll do well.

No, seriously, I very much look forward to the availability of the final object.

Me too. It should be really nice. We also hope to use this as an example to do other books in this way. We have another author who we've discussed this with who was enthusiastic, and if he likes it, that may open a door to an opportunity to do a number of books with a certain publisher...
