I don't know that I feel that strongly about it (not that Greedo wasn't destined be a grease spot - but still), but it's certainly nice to have theatrical releases alongside my (favored) "special" ones. Thanks for the head's up.

Eh, while some of the cosmetic changes in the Special Editions are ok, in battle scenes and such, the continuity changes piss me off. I'll take the theatrical versions any day.

While Han shooting first is a nice return to tradition, I'm much more happy to have Hayden Christianson removed from Return of the Jedi.

As am I. "Han Shoots First!" is the rallying cry, but in damn near every instance, the return to the theatrical version is better. The only continuity change I liked in the Special Editions was the extra scene with Biggs, but even that was superfluous. But yes, Han shooting first, no big fancy number at Jabba's palace, no CGI Jabba or Wampa, no distracting "cute" robots. Finally the pure Holy Trilogy.
